Sunday, Apr. 27, 2003 - 7:08 a.m.

It's daylight outside and I've been up for over twenty-one hours. Need I say more?

Since waking up at the 'rents' house, I've filled the day with enough activities to keep a normal person busy for a week. I went out to the flea market, drove back to Lex (90 mph on the Bluegrass... RAWK!), called a few people to inform them I'm back in town, went to Jalapeno's with Lyss, and kidnapped her for the remainder of the evening. After Graeter's ice cream (I am still the undefeated Chutes and Ladders champion) and a trip to Target I decided I should highlight my hair on my own, under Lyss's watchful eye. Now, the top of my head is a fetching shade of orange/yellow and the remainder is my natural dishwater brown.

As God as my witness, I shall never do that again. And this time, I mean it.

Hit with sudden inspiration, we went to Mia's for various intoxicating beverages, then hit The Bar for much dancing. Plus I found all kinds of boys I didn't hit on, which is always fun. I am the KING of self-convidence and staggering bravado. After hitching a ride home three blocks away in Casey's car driven by some guy I've never met, I've been watching TV and downloading music. That's my kind of Saturday/Sunday.

Oh, and the cat's doing some kind of crazy kamikaze leaps across the apartment. That child ain't right.

I would post a picture of the new hair, but I think I'll be regretting that enough in the coming weeks without having it immortalized on the computer screen. I'm currently devising a funny story to explain my hair to my coworkers tomorrow.

As for the Gallagher show with Mom, it was interesting. I think the main reason I love America is that a guy who smashes produce on stage can charge $35 per seat and sell out a major concert venue. That, my friends, is the essence of freedom.

One of these days I'll come up with a halfway coherent entry. For now, just have fun wondering where my common sense has gone. Oh, and if you find it could you tell me where it is?
