I had the strangest phone call today. For some reason, this head-honcho type guy at the Lexington Convention and Visitor's Bureau wants to meet with me next week to discuss some plan he has. We made an appointment for 8:00 am in my office on Wednesday. This is really strange... I have no ties whatsoever with the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. And to get this odd call out of the blue, that's just weird.
They totally want me to be their next spokesman, I'm sure. We'll see what that was all about next week.
But for now, I must get busy and crank out some work before I leave for G-Burg tonight! Ahh... three days of rest and relaxation in the Smokies. I can dig it. Later, peeps.
