I'll be leaving in the next hour or so to finally meet Josh in Ohio. I can't even explain all the different feelings that are bouncing around inside me now... definitely excitement, nervousness (but a good kind), and anticipation are the order of the day. All I know is I have the car packed up, the CD changer fully loaded, the gas tank filed, and the oil changed for a great road trip.
Truthfully, even if I didn't have a great guy to look forward to at the end of the journey, I'd probably be skipping town anyway. I have had the need to just drive somewhere for the longest time. The fact that I have a weekend of getting to know this great guy even more starting a few hours from now just sweetens the deal.
NOTE: I promise I'll be back to writing down my usual sarcastic observations of daily life soon enough. I know I'll have some great stories to tell at the end of the weekend!
