Here's the haircut, the product of weeks of obsessing over what I want:
So, whaddaya think? Just long enough that I've got something to change when the mood strikes, short enough on the sides that I don't look like Wolfman. I'm content.
And it's fun to brush my hand across the hair on the back of my head. Feels kinda cool. You know, like when I used to climb the rope in gym class. Oh, and thanks to everybody who gave input. People actually read this thing! Cool.
